| NEW YORK CITY and HACKENSACK, NJ- June 27, 2005 – Massive Incorporated and Skyworks Technologies today announced a partnership that will integrate Massive’s leading dynamic advertising technology into Skyworks’ world class catalog of casual games. The partnership will create an accessible and valuable network for advertisers to leverage the significant and fast-growing audience of casual online gamers.
Casual online games are by far the most heavily played games on the internet, generating hundreds of millions of monthly game plays and billions of minutes of potential brand exposure. Marketers who utilize the Massive-Skyworks casual game network will gain access to a huge audience of consumers engaged with this immersive, interactive entertainment content. ”By partnering with Skyworks, Massive will extend its proven technology and powerful video game network into the casual online games segment,” said Mitch Davis, CEO of Massive. “Our advertising partners will now be able to target both the broad online gaming audience and the core, youth gaming demographic, based on their specific brand needs.” Skyworks has led the casual games industry by creating games that engage mass audiences across multiple platforms. The Skyworks management team includes video game industry pioneers Garry Kitchen, David Crane and Alan Miller, a group that was responsible for co-founding companies including Activision, Accolade and Absolute Entertainment prior to founding Skyworks. “This is a tremendous untapped opportunity for advertisers to reach a large and diverse market by leveraging Massive’s leading video game advertising network and Skyworks’ large and proven casual online games catalog,” said Skyworks founder and CEO Garry Kitchen. The Massive-Skyworks partnership brings together the industry leaders in dynamic in-game advertising and casual online game design and development.
